CALM provides care for Kansas children who are unable to remain in their homes due to abuse or neglect. Some children have complex needs and/or developmental problems that are too difficult for their biological parents to provide care for. CALM is a private Child Placing Agency. The agency was established by four social workers and a foster/adoptive parent. Together they have a combined work experience of well over 75 years working with children in the Kansas foster care system.
